A great start to FOP Lodge 65
The Inaugural Meeting of FOP Lodge 65
The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 65 was brimming with pride as we convened our inaugural meeting, a momentous occasion that brought together a diverse assembly of both new and transferring Lodge members hailing from Bartow, Cherokee, and Pickens counties.
Inaugurating this historical event, we were honored to host esteemed National and State Fraternal Order of Police officials who presided over the formal establishment of Lodge 65. With overwhelming support from our initial members, each attendee was formally inducted into our ranks, granting them the unique privilege of adding their signatures to the official Lodge charter.
This gathering also offered a valuable platform for members to engage in one-on-one discussions with Lance LaRusso, our esteemed principal attorney. Lance shared his invaluable insights on the Fraternal Order of Police Legal Defense Plan, providing its significance and relevance to our members.
Furthermore, the inaugural meeting marked a significant milestone with the inaugural election of executive board officers, each of whom was duly elected and sworn in:
President, Frank James
First Vice President, Chris Shaw
Secretary, Beth Jeffreys
Treasurer, Randy Milligan
Sgt at Arms, Jay Brack
Chaplin, Brian Stevenson
